CPA
CPA means 'Cost per acquisition' and refers to CPA affiliate networks. Also, the amount paid per lead or sale as commission.
CPL
CPL means 'Cost per lead' for sales leads generated in a promotional system. A subset of 'Cost per Action.'
CPM
CPM means the cost per thousand ad impressions. Cost per mille.
CTR
CTR means the 'Click Thru Rate' or clickthru ratio......the number of clicks / impressions. Important in Google Adwords.
EPC
EPC refers to the 'Earnings per Click' for a specific product overall in a CPA Network. (Cost Per Action / aquisition).
PPC
PPC means 'Pay Per Click' as in a bid auction such as Google Adwords, Overture (Yahoo!) and Miva.com and others...
ROI
ROI means the 'Return on Investment', especially the sales returns / advertising cost.
Call-to-action:: refers to the trigger words on a sales page asking a person to 'Buy Now' or 'Order Now'...
The Bottom Line
The bottom line means the amount of profit or loss after expenses have been deducted from gross takings (sales).
